One of 116 Chevrolet Corvette L-88s produced in 1969 and one of less than 100 documented surviving vehicles. It was delivered to Earl Hayes Chevrolet in Dallas, Texas per the NCRS shipping data report. Many of these ultimate performance C3 Corvettes were converted to race cars and saw hard duty and great success on road race tracks and drag strips through the 1970s. It is extremely rare to find an unmodified L-88 with its original, unmolested body with bonding strips intact. This vehicle has less than 16,000 original miles and retains its original no-hit body, correct numbers-matching engine and drivetrain.

Purchased by the current owners in 2014, the vehicle was in excellent original condition having been restored in 2004. However, the new owners decided to have a fresh frame-off restoration done by noted L-88 restorer/historian Kevin Mackay of Corvette Repair. While the 2004 restoration had held up well, it was discovered that there were a number of incorrect parts that had been installed over the years. The restoration is photo documented and all receipts totaling $135,000 will be provided.

Since completion in the Spring of 2015, the car has been awarded NCRS Top Flight, Bloomington Gold and MCACN Concours Gold and Triple Diamond. Judging sheets are also included along with the all-important original tank sticker. In November 2016, the car won a Palmetto Award at the Hilton Head Concours.
